Our Program

FJH Comprehensive School Counseling Program

We are dedicated to putting students first, ensuring their academic and personal growth is at the forefront of all our efforts. By empowering our faculty, staff, and students with the resources and support they need, our goal is to create an environment where every student can feel safe, welcome, and a part of our FJH community.

 

Academic Preparation and Planning

  • On-campus tutorial services
  • Multi-tiered academic intervention programs
  • Honors programs to challenge advanced learners
  • Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses to help students begin choosing endorsement pathways and developing job-related skills

Counseling Support

  • Minor in-house counseling provided by our School Counselor
  • Referrals to outside public metal health agencies including immediate crisis support, substance abuse intervention, and in-patient crisis centers
  • Referrals to outside counseling programs such as TCHATT or local counseling providers

Guidance Curriculum

  • Our campus is proud to partner with the Character Strong Guidance Curriculum program to help support the social/emotional learning of our students.

System Support

  • Our program implements various systems to support the efforts of teachers, staff, parents, and other members of the community in promoting the educational, career, personal, and social development of students.
